Hut Insurance

This insurance provides cover for dwellings constructed in rural areas with financial assistance from Banking/ Cooperative / Government Institutions. It applies to those huts which conforms to the following minimum construction standards viz. structure(s) having walls and / or roofs of wooden planks / thatched leaves and / or grass /hay of any kind / bamboo / plastic cloth / asphalt cloth /canvas /tarpaulin and the like.
Covered Risks:
Loss or damage due to fire, lightning, explosion of boiler or gas used for domestic purpose only, earthquake, flood, inundation, storm, tempest, cyclone and other atmospheric disturbance of similar nature, riot and strike damage, malicious damage, aircraft and impact damage.

Agricultural Pumpset Insurance

This insurance provides cover for submersible and non-submersible pumpsets used for agricultural purposes only. A Pumpset includes pump, driving unit and starter. Pumpsets beyond 25 H.P. are not insurable under this Policy.

Covered Risks:
Loss or damage due to Fire and /or Lightning, Theft/burglary, Mechanical/Electrical breakdown, riot and strike damage, malicious damage.
